Larson would keep the deficit to five with six points and went 1-for-2 at the line in the third quarter, ending 34-29. However, the Tigers three-point percentage would grow in the second half, going from 20 to 31 percent with more attempts and more shots made. Unfortunately for the Night Hawks, in the second half they would not find any more success in their three-pointers. Hettinger-Scranton put up another bucket from beyond the arc, ending the first half with a 50 percent success rate for their three-point field goals. New England kept their head just above water going into the second half with the score being 23-20 with majority of their points coming from free throws, going 5-for-6 at the charity stripe. It ended 14-13, but could have been a tied game if it wasn't from a missed free throw by Hettinger-Scranton's Blake Larson. In the first quarter, each side found success from long range, knocking down two 3-pointers each.
